GOt a new Camera and I Love it.

I got an early christmas package and here are just a few things that it came with and honestly I think it is too awesome for words rigth now and I will definately be posting more about it when I have gotten a chance to play with it more. So far I have tried each lens and even thought they have their uses Ii like the 18-55 wide angle lens the most. I have many point and shoot capabilities but I am way more enthused about the manual options. please let me know if you have anything to to say about this "monster".

Baby stuff update

Some readers have personally asked for my advice and or recommendations of products I find useful as they are now expecting their first child.... actually it is a baby booming time right now.
#1.Lansinoh milk storage bags are the best.. they stand up wright and have a very large milk capacity so you can store a lot in one bag.
#2. Baby otoscope from one step ahead, I haven't been able to find these any where else but it save a ton on frequent doctor visits.. if you look in the ear and see gunk.. a bit of warmed peroxide will do the trick and bust that stuff up and allow it to flow freely from the ear with out causing problems.. if the ear is red (infected) then a bit of warmed olive oil in the affected ear and a gentle massage of the muscle that connects the base of the ear to the neck from ear to neck in that direction.. this encourages thew drainage of your childs ear while the oil smuthers the bacteria. These solutions were reccomended by Kobusch Chiropractic care and help your kids stay away from antibitotics.
#3. wipey warmer.. if you don't have one get one!! I can not tell you how much more pleasant diaper changes are now that i do not have to deal witha squirming child who thinks the wipes are too cold.. lets face it they are to that scarce area.

Carter's 1st Birthday Favorites

This little gadget turns from a riding toy to a pop up push it toy to help with the learning of taking those first unassisted steps. But most of all Carter loves the little hatch where he can place smaller toys in to carry then around in. Thhatch is right under the green flip lid with the little eye on it. I honestly rate this a 10 on the Baby loves it scale.

We saw a ton of interesting gadgets and stuff on Mommy Goggles and even though it seems that every thing is an advertisement it is a very real reaction to how the author (Tanya) feels about all the items she tries and uses daily.

Love My Canon

So a few months back I bought a Canon Power Shot A540 (purse model) and recently leased an upgraded Canon Power Shot A5IS to see how I liked it. I took well over 280 pics in one weekend and most of them are great keepers. I have to say that on this digital camera i like the zoom at my finger tips and having the option of manual functions more so than my A540. The change of shutter speed and aperture are more conducive to the type of photos I take. I happen to like the camera very much and since my experience with Canon has been so positive I will probably upgrade again in the future!

I found a site that I absolutely love and since I am somewhat new to the world of blogging can't keep my eyes off the fantastic use of color and designs the author uses. Best of all she is conducting a give away that will allow one lucky person to have her design their blog for them.
